Lucy Chapple a professional and experienced Educational Psychologist who has achieved Chartered status.
Lucy has worked as an Educational Psychologist within Local Authority and the independent sector for the past 9 years. Lucy is currently a Specialist Educational Psychologist for Looked After Children (LAC) and adopted children and young people.
Evaluations and feedback from schools, parents and young people have consistently rated her work as of outstanding quality. Lucy is passionate and committed to using psychological theory and evidence-based practice to promote long-term change and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
She currently works part-time as a local authority and independent Educational Psychologist working within home, public and private school settings with children and young people from 0-25 years. This dual role ensures opportunity and access to up-to-date research, pedagogy, training and supervision from both sectors.
Lucy fervently believes that with increased understanding of the child’s strengths and needs, with consistent empirically based teaching and learning support and through collaborative and multi-agency working, all children and young people have the ability and right to achieve their full potential.
